Ruth

Ruth earned her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Samford University and her master’s degree from Valdosta State University. She has worked with the pediatric population in private medical clinics, non-profit clinics, and public and private schools. She is Feed The Peds trained and a recipient of the 2024 ASHA ACE award.
Currently, Ruth holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Ruth’s clinical background includes working with children (infancy-adolescence) with speech, feeding, language, cognition, fluency, and social communication differences. Ruth is committed to providing neurodiversity affirming therapy that’s fun, engaging, and effective through individualized evidence-based practices.
Ruth finds joy in connecting and building relationships with new people, traveling and spending time with her husband and golden retriever.
