Activekidz & Adult Therapy’s mission is to provide state of the art, compassionate therapy services for patients who have a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and developmental needs, with a focus on functional outcomes.

Established in 2001, Activekidz & Adult Therapy is a privately owned clinic offering Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Our multidisciplinary approach allows our therapists to work together to provide the most comprehensive care to our patients.

Our therapists and support team join us from many different backgrounds and experiences, but share the gift of compassion that shine through their interactions with patients, their loved ones, and each other. Licenses/Certification Required:
Physical therapy license or plan to obtain one (required)

Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

Valid Georgia license in Occupational Therapy

Knowledge of medical terminology

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively   with clients, parents, and peers

Ability to develop rapport quickly to build trusted relationships with clients and parents

Speech Therapist

Job Types Available:

Salary
$60 – $65 hour

Licenses/Certification Required:
Physical therapy license or plan to obtain one (required)

Assess the needs of children with speech, language, oral motor skill, swallowing and cognition disorders

Score and interpret standardized test

Develop and implement a plan of care to meet the needs of the child

Report progress to parents; suggest activities for parents to help supplement program between therapy sessions

Repeat evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines

Keep current with professional literature and attends seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology

Will offer Clinical Instructor for Clinical Fellowship 

Georgia state license

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients, parents, and peers
