Jordan
OTD, OTR/L
Jordan is a Georgia native, originally from a small city called Albany. She completed her bachelor of science degree and certification in Exercise Physiology at Valdosta State University in 2019. After a year off to complete her internship and work, Jordan attended Brenau University in the inaugural Occupational Therapy Doctorate program in Norcross, Ga. While at
Brenau, she was the president of the student association, sat on the board for both the National Honors Society and the Diversity Club. She loved attending the national and regional conferences for OT to further her understanding and believes that in order to help clients we must first encourage uniqueness!
Jordan has been volunteering and shadowing occupational therapy since she was a young girl, after falling in love with how OTs empowered their clients to develop skills to meaningfully participate in their lives. She is excited to grow her skills through her interests in primitive reflex integration and feeding therapy.
Jordan recently moved to Athens to be with her husband and enjoys spending time with her dog, family, and friends. She loves fandom movies, reading books, and listening to music. Her favorite quote is “If you do your best each and every day, good things are sure to come your way.” She is very excited to be a part of the ActiveKidz team.
