Makamie

Makamie is  so excited to be joining the ActiveKidz family and serving the amazing Calhoun community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Dalton State and went on to receive her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Working with children has always been a deep passion of hers. Throughout her clinical rotations, she gained valuable experience with kids from all walks of life, which only strengthened her calling to help them thrive through OT.

Makamie recently married her wonderful husband, Seth, and when she is not in the clinic, you can usually find her spending time with her family and friends, or soaking up the sun at the lake.

She is truly honored to be part of this team and can’t wait to make a difference in the lives of the children and families in our community!
