Frederica currently has over 22 years of experience, specializing in pediatrics, with particular emphasis in the areas of autism, developmental disabilities and sensory processing disorders. She has treated all ages of pediatric patients in hospital, outpatient, and home settings prior to accepting the position of Assistant Professor at Brenau University, where she currently teaches undergraduate, graduate and Doctoral level students in Occupational Therapy across the lifespan and research.

Frederica graduated from Chicago State University with a BS in Occupational Therapy in 1999. In 2011, she received her Doctorate from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals in Provo, Utah. She is trained in therapeutic listening, Oral Beckman feeding techniques and holds an advanced certification as an Autism specialist. In addition, Frederica is a co-chair for the OCCUITY committee as well as virtual conference speaker for 2022.
